The video is ready. Who checks what it says?

Polished videos are easier to make now. Checking that one speaks accurately for your business is still your job. If you’re a plumber between call-outs, a salon owner with clients in the chair or a small agency up against deadlines, that check can turn a time-saving tool into another task to fit in.

A finished-looking video can still be wrong

Marblism has added a video feature to its Sonny assistant. Give it a prompt and it can create social videos using a person’s image and cloned voice. The company says the videos are designed to be ready for posting. Its announcement also describes customers using the feature, but that account comes from Marblism itself.

For a small business, a professional-looking clip is only part of the job. Does it give the right price? Does it describe the service correctly? Would you actually say those words? A convincing voice can make an error sound convincing too.

A draft can look finished before its details are checked.

Review takes time

When a video is pitched as one prompt followed by a finished asset, the time needed to review it can go missing. Someone still has to check the names, claims, offers and dates, and listen for the right tone. If the video uses your face or voice, decide whether you’re comfortable with that and where the clip will appear.

Many owners have ideas. Finding time to inspect every public detail is harder. Skip the check and you could confuse a customer. Do it properly and the minutes saved on production might go towards the review instead.

Keep the owner in the approval step

WorkMate OS uses a draft, review, then send process for outward-facing work. Its studio module produces video, and the owner approves what goes out. That gives you a clear moment to check the facts and presentation before a customer sees them.

The crew shares one Brain and a stored brand kit, so details about your services, voice and banned words can carry across tasks. A new helper doesn’t need to learn your tone from scratch each time. The production workflow may vary by module, but the owner stays in control of approval. A polished clip doesn’t automatically become a public promise.

Before you publish

Read the on-screen text and listen to the spoken words. Check every offer, service detail and date. Make sure you’re comfortable with how your image and voice are used, then watch the whole clip as a customer would. If something feels wrong, send it back for correction.

AI can make a video. The useful question for a business is whether there’s a dependable review step that fits into a busy week.
